My name is Rodolfo Mazzuchi MacSwain, although everyone just calls me "Roddie". I was raised in Alexandria, Virginia, US, and moved within the US before emigrating to Argentina, where I lived in different towns and cities (Buenos Aires, Rosario, La Plata, Bahía Blanca, Bariloche, Miramar, etc.) I then returned to the US (Florida) for a year, and further moved to Europe (Jaca, in Spain; and Pau, in France). I am now considering trying Iceland. The world is my country and I wish to visit every corner, delve as much as possible into every culture. I am an English philologist with full time-management freedom. I mostly translate and write. I used to be a locally-renowned Highland bagpiper, and an avid mountaineer and rock&ice climber. I was also a serious fly fisherman and fly-tier. I now devote my time to experiencing how different peoples live, aiming at gazing at the world through their eyes. I did that for 16 years with Patagonia: it changed my life completely.
