Made the cover of THE magazine for Highland pipers once, back in 1995. I was sooo devoted to the instrument and the culture of the Highlands. The instrument played a key role in my learning to express feelings beyond words, and helped me conquer my fear of crowds, as I gave many concerts and talks before large audiences, had television and radio appearances, etc., all on my own.
